These terms apply when you use deedstoneprotection.com ("the site") or request a quote from Deedstone Mortgage Protection ("Deedstone," "we," "us"). Deedstone offers insurance products through licensed insurance agents. By using the site you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Who we are
We are an insurance agency, not an insurance company. We help you compare mortgage protection and life insurance options from licensed carriers. Coverage is provided by the carrier that issues your policy, under that carrier's terms. We are licensed only in the states where our license allows, and not every product or rider is available in every state.
No coverage until a policy is issued
Requesting a quote, using the coverage estimator, or talking with us does not create insurance coverage. Coverage exists only after a carrier approves your application, you accept the policy, and any required first payment is made. All policies are subject to underwriting approval.
Estimates and quotes
The coverage estimator on the site is a planning tool. It adds your mortgage balance to a cushion of monthly payments and is not a quote, an offer, or financial advice. Your actual price and eligibility depend on your age, health, tobacco use, coverage amount, term, carrier, and state. Prices and terms can change until a policy is issued.
Information you give us
You agree to give accurate and complete information. Incorrect or incomplete answers on a quote request or an application can affect your price, cause a claim to be denied, or cancel a policy. You are responsible for the answers you give.
Calls and email
If you check the consent box on our quote form, you agree that Deedstone and its licensed agents may call you, including with automated dialing technology, and email you about insurance at the phone number and email address you provided. Consent is not a condition of buying any product or service. The quote form does not sign you up for text messages.
Text messaging program
You can opt in to text messages from Deedstone Mortgage Protection only through the chat widget on our website. By giving us your mobile number in the chat and agreeing to receive texts, you consent to text messages about your insurance questions, quotes, scheduling, and follow-up.

Acceptable use
You agree not to submit false or another person's information, try to break or overload the site, use bots or automated tools to submit forms, copy or scrape the site, or use it for anything unlawful. We may block access or decline requests that we believe break these rules.

Reviews and ratings on the site were provided by clients of MortgageShield Protection. They reflect individual experiences. Your price, coverage, and results will vary.
Our content
The site's text, design, and logos belong to Deedstone or its licensors. Carrier names are trademarks of their owners and appear only to describe the carriers we may work with. This does not mean any carrier endorses us or the site.
Third-party links and services
The site may link to or load services from other companies, such as our chat and messaging provider. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.
Disclaimers
The site is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not promise that it will always be available, error-free, or secure, and we do not give legal, tax, or financial advice. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties not stated in these terms.
Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Deedstone and its agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim related to the site is limited to $100. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under insurance law or any liability that cannot be limited by law. Your rights under a policy are set by the carrier's policy, not by this site.
Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date above shows when they last changed. Using the site after an update means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the state where Deedstone is based, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought in the courts of that state, except where the law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
